Introducing the Take 5 Movement for Better Mental Health and Wellness.
A new employee benefit being piloted by Inside Edge and other local Minnesota businesses.
The Take 5 Movement is a progressive approach aimed at promoting the well-being of individuals in the workplace. It encourages employees to take regular breaks, engage in self-care activities, and focus on their overall health and wellness.
Why the Take 5 Movement Matters
1 in 4 adults have a diagnosable mental health issue each year…
1 in 20 have a more serious condition.
More than half of the U.S. population will have a mental illness of disorder at some point during their lifetime.
Companies who implement these changes are seeing increased productivity through fewer employee absences and less “presenteeism”, some by as much as 50%.
