More than Floors

A major national retailer, facing the challenge of finding qualified vendors to execute a comprehensive store refresh project, turned to Inside Edge Commercial Interior Services to meet their ambitious goals.

The store’s core objective was to achieve a high-quality store remodel, while simplifying the process with a single point of contact, simultaneously ensuring the project remained economically competitive.

Inside Edge was ready to step up to the plate, offering a multifaceted solution that involved multiple scopes of work to breathe new life into the retailer’s space:

• Polished, Stained, and Sealed Concrete: Over 19,000 square feet of polished, stained, and sealed concrete was completed throughout the sales floor, racetrack, front of house, and break room areas.

• Ceramic Tile Installation: The meticulous ceramic tile installation introduced 1,300 square feet of floor, wall, and accent wall tiles to the store’s customer restrooms.

• LVT Installation: 1,500 square feet of glue down and interlocking LVT tile was carefully installed to combine aesthetics and functionality to the main sales floor area of the store.

• Full Carpet Replacement: The full carpet replacement was aimed at ensuring comfort and durability, offering an inviting atmosphere while standing up to the rigors of heavy foot traffic. 12,600 square feet of broadloom carpet, entry way carpet, and carpet tiles were installed throughout the store.

• Full Paint Scope: Painting extended beyond interior walls, encompassing open deck ceilings and even to the store’s exterior.

The remodel took a total of three and a half months to complete. Thanks to the relentless dedication and exceptional expertise of the Project Management team, Inside Edge orchestrated the seamless management of multiple crews, ensuring everything was completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
